Amazon stock is flying all time high at $720 these days. Its P/E ratio is about 300, which is ridiculously high. Investors are willing to go for stocks with P/E ratio as high as 20. But when the ratio goes up to 300, it becomes puzzling why the stock is still flying.  (more…)

The Man from Earth

the man from the earthI watched the man from earth movie yesterday. The movie was released in 2007. I have never watched the movie before and never heard of it. Imagine 9 years later, I’m watching it.

I’m watching the entire movie that was set in a tiny cozy room with a fireplace. The story was revolved around a leaving Professor whose farewell garnered attention from his neighboring friends. The story grabs your attention as the conversation moves forward. Added to the credibility of the ongoing conversation or story is the fact that his neighbors were all working professionals to support his claims. I don’t want to spoil the story here. (more…)

Piano

My Yamaha Piano

I’m selling my piano these days since I’m moving out soon.

Apparently, the price I’m offering seems pretty steep for some potential buyers. Some don’t even bother to say “I’m sorry I couldn’t make it.” gesture at least. They just asked the piano condition and once I said the price is the best I can offer. They just went “poof”. Not even a courtesy response.
